JTA (Jewish Telegraphic Agency), the global news service of the Jewish people, is creating a mobile version of the JTA website that will be compatible with all smartphones and mobile devices. Targum Shlishi’s support will help with the design and production of the unique JTA mobile website, providing a richer user interface on all smartphones and mobile devices which comprise 4.1 billion subscribers worldwide. The mobile website is expected to launch in summer 2010. JTA is the global news service of the Jewish people, reaching millions through syndication to community newspapers, a dynamic Web site, e-mail news products, and applications for the computer and mobile phone. An independent, unaffiliated not-for-profit organization, JTA is dedicated to the belief that the Jewish community is only as connected as it is informed, and only as effective as it is connected.
